BSA Mission Statement:

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Since Lord Robert Baden-Powell started the Boy Scouts in 1910, the organization has grown from just a handful of boys to a nation wide movement. Boy Scouting teaches young boys the skills they need to survive not just in the wilderness, but in the Concrete Jungle as well. Skills learned in Scouting will remain with the scout for the rest of his life.

If you or your son are interested in camping, outdoor cooking, rock climbing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, playing games, or just having fun learning new things, consider joining Boy Scouts!

If you are from the Hampton/North Hampton area and would like to come to a Troop 162 meeting, feel free to join us Monday nights from 7 to 8:30 pm. We meet almost every week at the
United Church of Christ at 295 Atlantic Avenue, North Hampton NH 03862

Please contact our Scoutmaster at Scoutmaster@Troop162NH.org before you come so we can give you a proper welcome!

Do You Have a Son Younger than 10?

If your son is interested in scouting, but is too young for Boy Scouts, he should consider being a Cub Scout! Visit North Hampton's Cub Scout Pack's website at  www.Pack162NH.org  for more information.
